eBayyyyyyyyyyyy! My love of eBay!

I love eBay!!!! My love of it started about 4 or 5 years and I thought to myself why hadn't I found out about it earlier. It's not like I lived under a rock or something, I just didn't know how online shopping worked.

You can find basically anything and get it for way cheaper than you find in your local shopping centre. Items can be purchased from all over the world. The fact that most of the items come from China and take 3-4 weeks to arrive (to Australia), might turn people away but if you want it cheaper and don't mind waiting then eBay might just be for you.

I have to warn you though as the saying goes "cheaper is not always better" and "you get what you pay for" are sometimes true. But Hey! if you're going to pay $2 for jewelry don't expect it to last as long as a $300 piece of jewelry. In my experience I have bought jewelry for $2 or less and has surprisingly lasted longer than I expected.

My tips for shopping on eBay:

  • Look for sellers with a rating of 90% and above.
  • Bidding. Not only fun but you can often get items cheaper than what it is originally selling for.
  • Shop around cos you could get it cheaper. Use the key words in the item description in search and the same item could come up cheaper than the first one you found.
  • When I receive my item I like to take photos before i open the package just in case the item inside is broken, so you can send the seller proof that it was broken when you received it.
These are some tips that I go by when shopping on eBay, many more tips can be found by googling or even friends and family.

Now go forth and explore the wonderful world eBay!
